Teen Dating Violence
1 in 3 Teens experience some form of dating abuse every year.  You are not alone!  Dating Violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in a dating or domestic relationship.  This abuse can be verbal, emotional, physical, sexual or a combination of some or all of these (www.breakthe cycle.org). Sexual Assault
44% of victims of sexual assault are under the age of 18 (www.rainn.org). Sexual assault and sexual abuse are any type of unwanted sexual contact. Everyone has a right to decide what they do or do not want to do sexually.  Not all sexual assaults are violent “attacks.”  Forcing or pressuring someone to do something they do not want to do or don’t consent to is sexual assault (www.breakthecycle.org).
