  • SHARES Card (Supporting Humanities, Arts, Recreation, Education, and Sports)- Pick up your SHARES card in the DVSAC office and use it at Save Mart Supermarkets, Lucky Supermarkets or FoodMaxx.
  • SPD Community Card- SPD Markets in Grass Valley and Nevada City have joined with eScrip to bring us this benefit. All you do is fill out this form and bring it to either SPD location. They will give you a community card. Simply present the card or give your phone number every time you shop and they will give DVSAC 3%!

 shelter alliance

Cell Phone Recycling DVSAC receives funds from the Shelter Alliance for each donated phone. We collect used, unwanted, old, or even damaged phones on an ongoing basis which provides a continual source of funds. Shelter Alliance is a member of the National Recycling Coalition and accepts all types of cell phones. This program provides a way to address environmental concerns of old phones ending up in landfills while providing a number of DV organizations with a source of income. Please bring in your old cell phone to the DVSAC office or ask friends and family members who are upgrading, if they would be willing to donate. For more information: www.shelteralliance.net

Vehicle Donations Want to donate a running or non-running vehicle? DVSAC uses an organization called V-Dac, a vehicle donation program for non-profits. They take any vehicle, anywhere, running or not; cars, trucks, motorcycles, RV’s, boats, airplanes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, etc. No smog certificate is necessary and they can solve almost all title issues. DVSAC receives 100% of the proceeds. They will also pick up! You can start the vehicle donation process through their easy to use online donation wizard forms or call them to initiate the process over the phone. 1-877-999-8322 or visit their website.
